Within 24 hours of releasing BlackBerry Messenger for Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS, Waterloo-based smartphone pioneer BlackBerry says the app was downloaded on the competing platforms more than 10 million times. The launch was among the best single-day openings for any mobile app on any platform, BlackBerry noted. Read Rest of Story.
