Fifteen million people in the UK [that’s about a quarter] are disrupting their sleep patterns by looking at their mobile phones and other devices, with a third of them checking for messages at night and more than a sixth replying to them.

1) How might this behavior impact the quality of the work product conducted?  Might there be a way to flag this?

2) Is this even an issue?  Should an employer really care when a person is working…or is it actually something to be wary of, or even happy about?
