Description: Reddit Finally Launches An Official App
Source: Tech Vibes
Date: April 7, 2016
Until now, Reddit has made do with Alien Blue, which started out as a third-party app before being acquired by Reddit in 2014. But as Sarah Perez reported this morning, the company’s engineering team decided rebuild the app from scratch to make it “faster, more modern and more usable.”
Questions for discussion:
1. Why are reasons to switch to app-use instead of just in-browser use?
2. If you use Reddit, will you try out this app? Have you tried out other 3rd party Reddit browsing apps?
